SugarCRM Install and/or Upgrade Messes Up the Admin Panel and Login Screen
When doing a fresh install of SugarCRM on Dreamhost, I encountered an issue where the Admin Panel was displaying as though it was missing its style sheet, and the spacing on the Login page was all messed up. Bittersweet Has Never Been More True
The last month or so has been a strange mixture of surprise, sadness, and hopeful excitement. I have been working with Blue Parabola for the last several years, and without a doubt, it has been an absolute blast. Not only have I gotten to be involved in the community and educating others as my job, but I’ve gotten to work with some amazing people throughout the years. The blame for this amazing trip lies squarely with Johanna Cherry, who convinced me to attend my first ever PHP conference (php|works in Atlanta) and Paul Reinheimer, who hired me the first time we met at said conference. Dreamhost’s New Mail Policy
So, about three weeks ago, Dreamhost decided to block all website e-mail messages sent from non-Dreamhost domain e-mails. This means that if the contact form on your website sends you messages “From” the person who filled out the form, you are no longer getting those messages. The solution is pretty easy (see the last section of this post), but since they didn’t tell anyone, there are messages missing. The good news is, that despite the word on the street that these messages are just gone and there’s nothing they can do, these messages are still on your server, and you can access them.
